My new calling at church is the "assistant compassionate service leader." It has been great so far and I'm enjoying serving more and letting my kids help be a part of it all. We collected donations for a sweet little girl who was paralyzed in a car accident this year. They loved helping me wrap presents and package them all, Teagan isn't pictured, but he helped package it all together. We collected 3 big bins full of books, DVDs, clothes, cards and so much more for their family. It was so fun to be a part of it. I had actually been having a really hard day and was feeling sorry for myself and then a ton of stuff got dropped off and I was able to forget myself and go to work, the difference it made was amazing!
