Jumping for Joy

Yesterday was over 70 degrees and there was no wind.  We took advantage of the great weather and played and worked outside all day.

The kids spent a lot of time jumping on the Murdock's trampoline.  They LOVE it!

Teagan (orange), Eli (maroon), Mason (gray), Eloise (black/yellow), Jordan(green shorts)

We really want to get a trampoline!  They are so fun.

34 Weeks Pregnant

Six more weeks and we'll be a family of 5!  We are all so excited to meet our little girl!

Easter 2013

We had a great Easter this year!  The weather was fabulous and we had so much fun together!

We decorated eggs, next year I need to do way more hard boiled eggs.

Rachel taught us the trick with coloring in crayon on the eggs first, so cool!

Then we went to the annual Durtschi egg hunt.

So many cousins and they all look about the same age!

The kids loved all the rides on grandpa's tractors.

Experimenting with gravity on the trailer.

And exploring heights and giving the mom's a heart attack!
We also got to play Kubb and soccer and eat yummy food, it was a great day!

On Easter Sunday the kids wore their new clothed to church.

We headed to Felt for more festivities at the Daniels house.

I was really proud of this Easter egg fruit pizza I made.  It was a Pinterest success!

The kids got another egg hunt which they loved!

We had a great time eating good food, playing soccer outside and playing a round of pinochle.

We had a great time at all the festivities, now on to yard work season.

Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

Remember that time Mr. Teagan smashed his finger under a rock?   Since then it has been the source of a lot of grossness.

In church a couple weeks ago he was pushing on it and somehow got blood to squirt out, lots of blood.  Luckily the family behind us witnessed the whole event and had tissues in our hands before we even knew why.

Then yesterday, he discovered that the nail was finally falling off.  I was helping in his class and I noticed that he had taken off the bandaid and was making girls squeal and boys ooh and ah by showing them.  It fell off completely last night and he put it in a container to take for show and tell.  Barf.  The whole thing is just gross.  It's good for me to breath deep and repeat to myself "it's a boy thing."

He is also such a tease, just like his daddy.  I actually love it, even though the two of them gang up on me, it's all in good fun.  His latest discovery is that ET freaks me out and that I used to have nightmares about him trying to touch my eyes when I was little.  Teagan points at my eye and says "ET phone home, touch mommy's eye."  Him and Zac are both giggling so hard he can't even finish.

Boys.

Sugar and Spice

A few minutes of silence later  and I found her making a work of pink art on her hands.  Luckily it's not on the walls or her clothes.  :). Good girl.  Hopefully when she cuts her own hair it will be in the back, not the bangs.

My Helper

This little girl is my pal.  She loves to do whatever I'm doing, unless Teagan is around, thenshe does what he does.

She has a little comb and loves to comb my hair, it's especially nice when she does it at church.

So much talent:

We were sewing a blanket for our new baby girl and Eloise was all over the pinning.  She was handing me pins and would put them back for me when I sewed and took them out. She poked herself once and was more careful after that. :)

She always gets so excited when I sweep or vacuum or mop and runs to the broom closet, "I sweep, I sweep too!"

Tonight Zac's teacher's quorum came to help us spread manure all over our yard and she was out there with the big boys with her little plastic shovel, spreading.  So cute.  She is a sweetheart and we love her fun personality!
