Fun Weekend with the Daniels'

This weekend we celebrated Adam's birthday up at the Daniels' house with a bbq. It was such a beautiful day. My favorite part was playing "prisoner." It is like dodgeball, but you play with a VB net and instead of trying to hit the people, you try to make the ball hit the ground before they catch it. It sounds simple, but it got way intense! It was fun to get the whole fam together.

Teagan and Taylin are pretty cute together! Taylin always wants to touch his face and she wants to always play with him. I think she gets bored when she realizes that Teagan can't really "play" yet. :)

Shelly was so nice to invite Whitney to come to the bbq since she is up working for my dad this summer. Just for the record, they aren't dating and they don't want to be, they're just friends.

This is the best game ever, we were all too tired so we didn't play for very long, but it is soooo fun!

Are we crazy?

Well, Zac and I had a nervous break down yesterday and we realized that Physical Therapy school is just too expensive, well San Diego is just too expensive. We talked and we've decided we're going to get a one bedroom apartment to save some money. The difference in price is going to be more than $300 every month, which is $3,600 a year and about $10,000 for the whole graduate degree. So we decided to make it work.

The funny part is that we are just trying to find one with a big walk in closet or nook where Teagan can sleep. It will definately be tight, but I'm a firm believer that we will be able to make the best of any situation we put ourselves into, plus we can always move to bigger apartment if we go too crazy.

Any thoughts? Has anyone tried a one bedroom apartment with a baby? What were your experiences? Any advice? Are we crazy?

***I should be more clear. We are still going to go to San Diego, we are just going to get a one bedroom while we are there as a money saver...sorry Alicia. :)

Possum are nasty gigantic rat looking things that you don't want inside...

Well, my mom doesn't have a blog so I have to tell this story for her- it is too good to not put online.

Yesterday morning my mom crawled out of bed and walked down the hall towards the main room where there is a double sliding glass door. When she looked up she saw a possum perched above the blinds on the doors!!! She of course freaked out a little, but then decided that since it wasn't moving she'd have to figure out how to get it out. She started rearranging the furniture making a path for the thing to get out of the house. She started hitting it with a broom trying to get it to jump down and it started biting the broom and hissing at her. I just have to say that my mom is the bravest woman alive. I would have been holed up in my room calling 911 or something.

She finally got it to jump down and it didn't want to go outside (apparently they're nocternal) so it slid between the couches into the den and hid under a TV stand. Can you IMAGINE??? She called a neighbor to come help and together they formed a wall out of mat boards that lead to the front door, it tried to slip between, but with both of them they got it outside.

The worst part is that it pooped and got it all over the window and blinds and on the carpet. My mom spent all day in a gas mask shampooing pretty much the entire house, I don't blame her!

You may be asking yourself, how did it get in? The night before she was out working late in the garage and had opened all of the doors to cool the house off and when she went in for the night she locked the doors and didn't notice that the possum was in the house. It slept the whole night there. The moral of the story is: don't ever leave your doors open-ever.

Moving Sale Blog

Well, we are moving in approximately 5 weeks and I realized that we have aquired A LOT of stuff while we've lived here. We got a new bed, a new computer desk, and lots of baby stuff. Now that we won't really have any storage we've decided to sell a bunch.

I wanted to put my stuff on the BYU-I bulletin board, but they don't allow pictures so I made a blog to show everything. Check it out, maybe you'll find something that you gave me. Maybe I'll throw on a discount if I like you, who knows.

I'll keep adding stuff to it. We have a futon and a mattress set that are stored away right now so I couldn't get pictures and I still have to decide what I can part with.

What the Bachelorette?!?

I can't lie, last night held a lot of disappointment for me, and Zac, and Jason. How could she choose the ugly one who is not marriage material at all. Jason was perfect for her and it seemed like she liked him so much more. I think that she only chose Jesse because she wanted to have fun and it will wear off and she won't love him. It is not going last according to me, maybe i'm judgemental. I just don't get why she likes him. I feel so bad for Jason. Oh well, now I can put more focus into figuring out who the mole is. :)

As a side note, I usually don't watch these shows and get so into them, but the last few episodes have been addicting. Ever since Teagan goes to bed early we can't leave at night so we just watch TV. We'll have to start playing boardgames or something so we don't kill brain cells. :)

Family Reunion II

We had another reunion this last weekend and it was so much fun!!! For some reason I didn't take very many pictures with all of my cousins, but I guess I'll just have to get them from Aunt Dorothy and all my blogging cousins. :) If you have one with all the babies please email it to me!!!

On the fourth we were lucky enough to be in the parade with Zac's parents. They were advertising his Dad's business at Edward Jones so we through out little green footballs. I felt like a super senior and I didn't even go to Teton, but it was fun watching all the kids diving for the mini footballs!

During the reunion Teagan was really fussy so I thought he was teething so I put frozen blackberries in his little mesh eating deal and he LOVED it! He made a gigantic mess, but was entertained for at least 45 minutes. After he was done we just stuck him in the big deep sink and sprayed him off. It was so funny!

On Saturday the whole family was actually there. Robert and Rebecca surprised everyone and came down from Boise and Jake, Angie, and Kai came down for the day. It's too bad that I'll be moving and missing out on all the family get togethers for the next couple years! We got a family picture and that was really fun.

Robert and Rebecca gave Kai the cute little radio flyer, and Kate had to give it a try, so cute!
