This was an exciting year, Teagan moved into the middle school at Staurt this year. He gets to ride his bike to and from school everyday with his friends and switches classes throughout the day. He rides with Haven Ivins and saves a lot of time in the morning and afternoon by avoiding the bus. I also love that he gets to avoid all the junk that happens on the bus, swearing, bullying, inappropriate technology and more. So far it seems like it has been great. He comes home ready to get going on his work and is feeling independent.
Eloise has started first grade. The first day of all day school was really hard for her. She came home so tired and worn out every day, but she has adjusted now. She loves her teacher, Mrs Andrews, and does really well at school. She loves to follow directions and has become a great reader. She is completely boy crazy which is interesting, I'm not quite sure how to tame that...things are getting pretty silly around here.
Adeline was so sad when they left. She loves her sibling so much and was pretty devastated that they were going to be gone all day. We decided to start doing joy school to help her cope with her loneliness. She loves it and asks every day if it's time for joy school. She gets bored and tortures poor Everly, it makes for so much screaming.
