Sand Dunes Camping

Our first camping trip of the year was to the St Anthony Sand Dunes.  The campground books so fast so we had to plan way in advance so by the time we got there it wasn't ideal weather.  We dealt with some rain and wind storms and thunder and lightening.  Luckily we had a camper, not a tent, and we could hide out inside while the bad weather passed.

Grandma and Grandpa Durtschi came and brought their side by side.  I was scared to death as he and Zac got more and more brave with their driving.  We had no helmets and not enough seatbelts for everyone, but it was a pretty fun time and they were super careful.

Just playing in the sand was half the fun!  The huge hills were fun to jump off and sled down.  Zac and the kids made up a really fun game where Zac would roll a ball down the hill and the kids would try to stop it before it went all the way down.

Poor Teagan suffered with a pretty yucky fever a lot of the time and ended up resting and reading for a lot of the trip.  He took some ibuprofen and managed to feel well enough to get some play time in.  Sand Dunes, we will be back soon!
