I got a great big pot this year for canning huge batches of salsa. It is amazing! When I opened it the girls kept climbing inside it because it was so wonderfully large. I told Eloise that I bought it so that I would have a pot the perfect size for cooking little children and picked up the pot with her inside and took her to the stove. She wasn't sure if I was joking at first, but then she realized I was just being silly and she loved it. There was still a nervous edge to her laugh though, like "mom, are you sure you're not going to cook me and eat me up." What a little darling.
