Family Reunion I

My Grandma Packer turned 80 and we had a big party for her. She had 8 children there along with most of her grandchildren and great grand children. It was so much fun to see all of the cousins and their kids, there were babies EVERYWHERE. Teagan loved having all of the new friends!

Part of the reuion was getting a huge family picture along with individuals. We found out how expensive the prints were so we decided to take a couple with our camera...question- Why didn't we choose a better background???
Some of my cousins and their mom got Teagan this adorable baseball outfit with the matching hat. I love it!

Teagan loved his first piggy back ride with his Uncle Jesse, he loved eating Jesse's hair.
Kate (my neice) was so sweet with Teagan. She is only 15 months, but she would bring him his binkie and cover him with a blanket and help me pat his back. She liked to give him kisses too, eventually we'll have to start discouraging kissing cousins, but for now it is very adorable.

Oh What Do You Do in the Summer Time...

We've been trying to get a little creative with fun activities for us to do this summer that don't cost us an arm and a leg. A few weekends ago we went to Freeman Park and played Frisbee Golf, which was a very new experience for all of us. It's just like golf, except instead of putting into a hole at the end you aim for these bug metal things (You can see them in the pics).

Apparently some people use a whole bunch of different types of frisbees; driver, putter... We were content with our $1 ones from wal mart. Teagan was so good, I was so proud of him, except for the blowout it was a fantastic afternoon.

We bought a season's pass to Tauphus Park Zoo and we have been twice already. Last night we went again for family night and it was so fun. I've decided that zoos are great for about 45 minutes and then I get my fill which makes having a pass really nice.

Teagan was so funny with the monkeys! He kept trying to get them through the glass and he was laughing at them, it was so cute. We thougt the petting zoo would be a big hit, but he was bored so maybe when he's a little older.

Too many toys???

Last weekend we realized we have a ton of toys for Teagan. On Friday Grandma and Grandpa Daniels brought us a really cute walker, and Saturday Aunt Sheena brought us a bouncer to borrow. Then there is the swing, strollers, high chair, boppy...it's all just spiraling out of control! I had to take a picture of how rediculous our living room looked!
He loves the bouncer! Thanks Sheen! He was entertained by just the parrot for hours.
Teagan won't sit up, even if I help him. He only wants to stand. Any time I try to help him sit he arches his back to get on his feet...How can I convince him that sitting is important???

Love You Forever

It has been a personal goal of mine to make it through this book without crying, or should I say weeping. I try reading it to Teagan and by the time the mom gets very old and sick I have to start apologizing to Teagan because I can't speak through the tears. It's pathetic, I know. Does anyone else have this problem? You should try reading the book if you haven't. It is so sweet and is one of my favorites.

Sister Pictures

While we were in California we got some pictures taken by our old home teacher. My favorite ones are the ones where we are jumping. I think we had a little too much fun being super models...as you can see because this is exactly how super models pose! For those of you who don't know Julie is the oldest in the dark blue/green, I'm in pink, and Whitney is the youngest in light blue. I know there are a ton of pictures, I just couldn't choose one.

This one needs an explanation. It is a joke, the "stare thoughtfully off into the distance" pose and it took us about 20 tries to get one where nobody was laughing, Julie's face is priceless!

California Sun

Me and my sister Julie got to go down to California for our little sister's graduation. I can't believe Whitney is old enough to graduate! Isn't she cute!!! I was her photographer after the graduation and I couldn't believe all the boys that swarmed. I guess she is just beautiful and hilarious...it makes sense. I had a blast, but it is so nice to be back home with Zac. I missed him so much!

We got to go out to eat at Stone Fire and I'm convinced that they have the best salad and breadsticks in the world! If you're ever in Valencia you should eat there. We tried to put Teagan in a high chair like Kate, but he kept tipping over. I think he is getting stronger and he'll be sitting up by the end of the month.
I have discovered that Teagan LOVES walks! He'll be acting tired and hungry and whiny and we'll go on a walk and he'll be happy for another hour or two. Me and Julie went on tons of walks trying to keep the little ones happy and it worked! I wish it was a little warmer here so that I could take him out. California is a dream!

Cousins!

This winter 4 new little babies joined the family. First was Sasha from Brian and Elise in mid December, then Teagan the day after Christmas, then just in April Angie and Jake had little Kaiser and the next day Alicia and Garth had Palmer. Aren't they all so cute together? I can't wait until they are older.

The four newest cousins were all together for the first time yesterday and it was really fun!
